scanlan & theodore retrospective 2009scanlan & theodore Herbert + Mason created a temporary flexible retailing space for a retrospective of Scanlan & Theodore's work held during the melbourne spring fashion week 2009 at Murray White Gallery. The complexity of the piece was to maintain a classical space whilst using flat pack construction in order for the object to move and shift around, change shape, form and texture and be able to expand and contract in varied forms to suit the function in which it was to perform. The glittering object will be moved from place to place, state to state, used as a shop, a gallery, an object and will potentially end up in the NGV's permanent collection to house an archive of Scanlan & Theodore. |
